A wireless conference system with a basic discussion capability is available. For audio conference systems, there is a discussion chairman unit. When giving a speech, the chairman unit takes precedence over the delegate unit. The delegate unit’s speaking can be turned off by the chairman unit. The arrangement only allows the chairman to speak without being interrupted by others. Only after the chairman unit had spoken could the delegate units speak. Only until the chairman unit has exited “Chairman Mode” can delegates speak. 3W hi-fi monitor speaker built-in. Built-in lithium rechargeable battery with a 16-hour talk time and 60-hour standby time. The ID, signal level, battery & microphone status, and control channel are all displayed on the LCD screen in English. A round ring indicator for the microphone is included in the design. The gooseneck microphone can be easily installed and replaced because it is pluggable. The ID, control channel, and volume up and down are all controlled by three buttons. When there is no activity for 99 seconds, the device goes into standby mode. When a system fault occurs, the microphone will be turned off within 60 seconds. Gooseneck length is 400mm, but a longer one can be made at no extra charge. A total of 16 chairman units are supported by each conferencing system.
