Product Manager (IT – Laptop, Desktop)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle for laptops and desktops, from concept to market launch.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to promote and sell IT hardware products.
  • Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure high-quality product offerings.
  • Develop product specifications, pricing strategies, and promotional plans.
  • Provide the sales team with product training, technical knowledge, and sales materials.
  • Coordinate with marketing and communications teams to create product campaigns and promotions.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and alignment with supply chain needs.
  • Support the sales and customer service teams with product-related queries and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in product management, preferably in IT hardware (laptops, desktops).
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of the IT hardware market, including laptops and desktops.
    • Proven experience in product lifecycle management and market analysis.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, CRM software, and project management tools.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with teams to drive product success.
